Our story
Instituto Gesto is a non-profit organization created in 2021 to help strengthen public management in Brazilian municipalities and states.
Before establishing itself as an organization, our work was done through the Formar Program. Formar remains in our DNA and operations, contributing to learning in public education networks. After such positive results, we decided to go beyond education to generate social transformation and improve people’s lives in various social sectors as well.
We manage programs with a customizable, data-driven method. Together, we build coherent solutions that respect local realities and aim for long lasting, efficient management processes.
We take a contemporary and collaborative approach to deal with new challenges and foster profound changes in how public management is performed in Brazil.
